I’m a bariatric patient who’s mission is to help other who are considering a Bariatric procedure see the other side of food after surgery. It was one of my biggest fears throughout the process so I know others out there worry about it as well. 

Cooking Philosophy

Starting this journey was not easy. I use to consider myself an all or nothing type of person. I thought eating healthy meant eating the things I didn’t want to eat 100% until I’d slip up or give up. This mentality doesn’t go away with surgery and in order to remain successful, it was something I needed to shake off. So instead of being either good or bad, I’ve decided to live in the middle. I create easy to follow recipes that won’t cause you to feel guilty while also being in line with a typical bariatric program. Finding your healthy middle ground is a must and if you’re reading this- I hope you find comfort knowing you are not alone. That many of us struggle with our weight, our diets, and our opinions of ourself.
