1 tablespoon extra-virgin | |
1⁄4 onion, diced | |
4Cloves of garlic | |
1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin | |
1⁄4 teaspoon chili powder | |
1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed | |
1⁄2 cup chicken broth | |
1/3 Cup freeze dried cilantro |
Directions

Step 1
In a small skillet over medium heat, heat the oil.

Add the onion, garlic, and sauté until the onion is soft, about 3 minutes.

Add the beans and cheese and bring to a simmer.
