6 Baby Gold Potatoes | |
1⁄2 Tablespoon Salt | |
1⁄3 Cup Olive Oil | |
1⁄2 Cup Extra Sharp Cheddar | |
1⁄4 Cup Sour Cream |
Directions

Step 1
First, take a baby gold potato and make small slices down 3 quarters of the potato. Look at those nice clean cuts!
Bonus Tip: Use a dowel to make consistent slices without cutting through the potatoes.

Next, grab some olive oil and give that spud some love!
Slice up some extra sharp cheddar. This is what you want the cheese to look like. Top with a little salt and pepper and toss that in the oven at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.

Place your cheese in between your potato slices and get that back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
